For 6 years, Charles Burns devoted himself to creating the
"Toxic – The Beehive – Calavera" trilogy.
In addition to his three books, he allowed himself to draw many illustrations
around this universe. Among these, fake comic book covers, a nod to the pirated
versions of Tintin comics that abounded around the world.
